SPECIAL EVENTS
Special events are sponsored by the entire HOMES Team staff and are scheduled as special extracurricular activities. They are designed to increase social rehabilitation. Some of these events are the only time that all staff and members are together to work towards a common goal.
The recent examples are:
· Camping at French Creek Park which included.
Boating, fishing, games, singing, setting up camp, and preparing meals
· Holiday meal at a nice restaurant
· Mental health walk in Norristown
· Agency picnic at a park which included all Hedwig House staff
and members
· Members’ birthday recognition
· Special achievement recognition
