The Abington Hedwig House provides an opportunity for relationship building, peer support and community integration. It also offers a place where members volunteer and work with staff in the daily operation of Hedwig House. We maintain our clubhouse with three work units: Clerical, Kitchen and Maintenance. In conjunction with the Lansdale Hedwig House, we offer work opportunities through the Catering work unit. We offer assistance in job readiness, application and retention. These opportunities enable members to develop and keep skills in their search for peer support and employment.
