George Steinbrenner was a 30 year owner of the New York Yankees. He was known for trades, salary caps, and fighting with Yankee greats, like Yogi Berra and Billy Martin. Sometimes, he could be nice, other times he could be mean,nasty, and cocky. He hired and fired several managers, becaue he wanted the best from his organization, Winning!

If he saw wrong with his team, he would fire the manager, because he thought the manager was not doing a good enough job. He almost became the 40 year owner of the team know as the Danm Yankees, since they think they can win every baseball championship.

He died at the age of 80 of a heart attack in Tampa, Florida. At times he could be the Damn Owner of those Damn Yankees.
