The Norristown Clubhouse provides a wide range of opportunities to learn important life and vocational skills.
Our program begins with our Morning Meeting, where the membership discusses the plans for each day. The structure of our “Work Ordered Day” is made up of three Work Units: Clerical, Kitchen, and Maintenance. The Clerical Unit is responsible for all the clerical duties that keep the clubhouse running smoothly, plus comprehensive computer and office machine trainings. The Kitchen Unit provides excellent, low cost meals for those who have placed their order each day. The Maintenance Unit is always busy making sure the house is neat and clean. Our gardens are planted each spring, which make the house beautiful.
After lunch, members have a variety of afternoon groups to choose from. Topics range from Crafts, to Goals, to Interpersonal Relationships, to Walking, just to name a few.
We also offer Vocational Services as well as a Supported Residential Program in which we can support up to 21 residents.
