The Flower Cottage is a “work venture” of Hedwig House, Inc. The Flower Cottage is the realization of a steadfast commitment to enhance vocational services in the Pottstown Clubhouse. While in the Flower Cottage, we will be trained in the several months. Then the staff will be looking to hire. Also, the staff will pick ten to twelve employees. Members working in the cottage receive training and real work experiences that can be transferred to employment opportunities in the community. The members that work in the Flower Cottage are Beth Farrell, Catherine Staump, Sandy Harner, Steve Tompkins, Marilyn Ciocca, Deb Mars, Karl Russo, Mike Moorehead, Toni Christensen, Lorin Gerber, Carol Haines, Samantha Taylor, Barb Swist, Scott Schaefer and myself. The jobs that are in the Flower Cottage are receptionist, cashier, cleaner, to name a few.
