Hedwig House Receives $100,000 Grant
This month, Hedwig House received news that they would be the recipient of a $100,000 grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
"The last few years have shown that the need for adequate, compassionate mental health services is real and must continue to be invested in and expanded upon," State Rep. Mary Jo Daley, D-148, said in a statement. "I am proud to have played a role in obtaining this funding and will pursue every avenue available to reduce the stigma surrounding discussions of mental health, while ensuring those who need these vital services are able to access them."
This announcement was a joint announcement made by Daley, who represents an area that includes Plymouth and Whitemarsh Townships, and Steve Malagari, D-53, and Ben Sanchez, D-153, who are fellow representatives of Montgomery County.
